Elizabeth is in the program PLA at Vista High School. Her purpose is that she wanted to try something new so she joined in the program and she like it so she did it this year too. She has been in this school for all four years this is here last year in Vista High School. She likes this new program because she is getting to know more people and getting to know the teachers too. She like that fact the most of the homework is on the computers because then we don’t end up lost the papers they hand us.
As a student in the PLA program you have only about 20 or less classmates in your classes and that’s good because when you have to present in front of the class you wouldn’t be that nervous cause they are only few classmates in your classes. We also do project that are mostly in groups and to Elizabeth it’s better that way because you divide the work also less stress for one another.
Last year when Elizabeth joined the PLA program her grades were doing so much better than she was doing in regular classes. The new program helped her a lot last year and this year she is improving so much. She is putting her effort this effort because she wants to graduate from high school and she likes the teacher in pla because she knows them. So far Elizabeth’s experience in pla is been doing good because she got to know all the teachers in pla and got to meet new people in pla.
Elizabeth goals this year is to turn her work on time. Also she wants to have to get good grades in all her class. She doesn’t wants to get lower than a C this year because she doesn’t want it to look bad when college wants to check her grades in high school. She wants to have good grades in enter a good college next year for her career. She will finish high school strong and she will put a lot of effort in her work this year.
